You carry a lot. Your nervous system does too.
A-Z Therapy & Wellness offers structured, collaborative individual psychotherapy for adults who keep functioning while carrying chronic stress, unresolved experiences, emotional suppression, relationship strain, or patterns that have become difficult to sustain.
The work brings together insight, body awareness, relationships, and practical change.
Capable does not always mean okay.
You may be the person others rely on. The one who plans ahead, solves problems, and keeps going when things are difficult.
Those strengths can also make it difficult to slow down, receive support, tolerate uncertainty, or recognize your own needs.
Therapy offers space to understand these patterns without reducing you to them.
When responsibility becomes difficult to put down.
I work with adults who carry significant responsibility in their professional, personal, and relational lives. This may include veterans, first responders, fathers, professionals, caregivers, and others who have become accustomed to managing challenges while putting their own needs aside.
You may recognize yourself in some of these experiences:
Feeling constantly on alert or unable to relax
Overthinking, perfectionism, or difficulty tolerating uncertainty
Feeling responsible for everyone else's well-being
Emotional exhaustion despite continuing to function
Difficulty setting boundaries or asking for support
Feeling disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or what matters to you
You do not need a particular profession, background, or identity to explore whether therapy with A-Z is a good fit.
Your experiences shape your patterns. They don't have to define your future.
You may be capable and dependable on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, overthinking, self-criticism, or the constant pressure to keep everything together.
My approach integrates cognitive insight, somatic awareness, and practical strategies to help you understand what shaped your patterns, change how you respond, and create meaningful change in everyday life.
Beyond Insight
Understanding why you feel or react a certain way is valuable, but knowing isn't always enough to change the experience.
Mind & Body
Explore how thoughts, emotions, past experiences, and nervous system responses interact to influence your daily life.
Meaningful Change
Move beyond familiar patterns, navigate difficult emotions, make choices with greater intention, and build a more fulfilling life that reflects who you are.
Therapy isn't about changing who you are. It's about changing what no longer serves you.

“A-Z represents more than my initials. It reflects the experiences, approaches, and perspectives that shape how I understand people and practice therapy.”
Alphabet of Approaches: ACT. BSP. CBT. DBT. EMDR. and more…
More than an alphabet of acronyms, these approaches represent a diverse clinical toolkit informed by specialized training, experience, and continued learning.
Anthony integrates cognitive (top-down) and somatically informed (bottom-up) approaches, recognizing that meaningful therapeutic work may involve not only how we think, but also how we feel, respond, and experience the world.
The goal isn't to use every letter of the alphabet in the therapeutic modalities used; rather, it's to know which approaches to draw from, when, why, and for whom. Treatment is thoughtfully tailored to each person's needs, experiences, and goals.
Alphabet of Experiences - Not Your Typical Therapist
My path to becoming a therapist was anything but traditional.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I served in the United States Army and worked in a wide variety of occupations, including public education, sales, automotive repair, construction, factory line worker, food service, and even delivering newspapers. Each experience broadened my perspective, deepened my understanding of people from all walks of life, and shaped how I approach the unique challenges we face as individuals.
Combined with my academic background in rehabilitation psychology, behavioral health, and trauma-informed care, these experiences have shaped the perspective and approach I bring to psychotherapy.
Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals navigating complex personal, social, occupational, and psychological challenges. These experiences have reinforced my belief that people are far more than their symptoms, diagnoses, occupations, or circumstances. Each person brings a unique history shaped by their experiences, relationships, responsibilities, and environment.
At A-Z Therapy & Wellness, I integrate this understanding into an active, practical, and collaborative therapeutic approach. I strive to understand not only the challenges someone is facing, but also the experiences and patterns that have shaped how they think, feel, respond, and navigate the world. My goal is to help clients develop greater self-awareness, recognize patterns that may no longer serve them, and translate meaningful insights into practical, lasting change.
Taking the next step doesn't have to be complicated.
